"Note the sketches of the sheep. The success of these
admirable little drawings is due to the most searching
observation of construction, and to the clearest
realisation of texture. The student has most clearly
differentiated between the woolly coats of the lambs
and the shagginess of the mothers. And these
sketches, although they are apt to be a wee bit
colourless, point out clearly to one the
importance of drawing Edges."
