Now load DEPRESSION.
This knowledge base defines a no-argument
predicate called run
, for
diagnosing the causes of depression in
terms of provoking agents and
vulnerability factors. Like the
fugue-generator, it was written as a previous practical project, this
time by Alison Fry.
To use the program, type run.
.
It will pose you a number of questions about your current and
past circumstances: to answer them,
type y
or n
(or, if requested, a number),
followed by a RETURN. You do not need a full
stop after the reply.
When answering, the worse you make things seem, the more factors that will
appear in the diagnosis.
Look at the knowledge base again. What structure do the facts define, and how do you think they're used?
