The AI Finals course consists of four topics: General AI, Vision, Language, and Connectionism. You can arrange to do either two or four tutorials in each topic, subject to a maximum of eight tutorials in total. (Actually, most colleges will let you take a few extra tutes if you want to.) This handout contains the notes for the General AI tutes, for those taking only two. They deal mainly with what is known as ``classical'' or ``symbolic'' - opposed to connectionist - AI.
