Eternal Flame

I was originally going to entitle this posting (Spring). It's filk parodist Bob Kanefsky's hymn to Lisp — such passion was never sung of Perl — that I found via Wikiquote's Lisp programming language page. You can listen to an MP3 sung by Julia Ecklar; here's one stanza:

God wrote in Lisp code
When he filled the leaves with green.
The fractal flowers and recursive roots:
The most lovely hack I've seen.

Complete lyrics of Eternal Flame are here at Songworm, and the song appears on Kanefsky's CD Roundworm, which you can order via his About Roundworm page. This also has previews of other songs on the CD.
